My name is Mike Conlon owner of InspectXperts a home inspection business from Clayton servicing the Triangle Area. I am a Professional certified Inspector committed to helping buyers, sellers, homeowners, and builders make informed decisions with confidence.

Before becoming a home inspector, I spent 30 plus years in Boston, Ma area as a home renovation and construction contractor. That experience gives me a unique perspective when inspecting a home. I’ve worked on homes from the inside out, so I understand not only what I’m looking at, but also how homes are built, how they age, and what it takes to repair them properly.

What truly sets my business apart is the combination of technical knowledge, decades of hands-on construction experience, and personal service.  I encourage clients to attend the inspection whenever possible because I believe education is just as important as the report itself. I enjoy explaining how the home’s systems work, identifying maintenance items, and answering questions so clients leave feeling informed rather than overwhelmed. 

This personal service also includes me the owner doing your inspection. I am a small company focusing on personal  professional service with in-depth reports with several pictures and to you within 24 hours but usually same day. Even after the transaction, I’m always available for any questions.

For real estate professionals, I understand that communication, reliability, and timely reporting are essential. I work hard to provide detailed reports quickly while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and objectivity. I know every referral reflects on you and I take that seriously and work hard to earn your confidence for both you and your client.

After 3 plus decades in the home renovation industry, I know that every home has a story. My job is to uncover that story, explain it clearly, and help my clients protect one of the biggest investments they’ll ever make.
